samsung logo 5You would think that maybe Samsung would launch Tizen with a bang and a high-end device, but it seems that for now, the company is concentrating on low-end devices, perhaps to help capture the emerging market, and probably to help save money from having invested in a high-end device that no one really wants.

That being said if you’re curious about the Tizen platform, you might have heard that Samsung is working on a low-end Tizen handset and now thanks to a sighting on Samsung’s website (via SamMobile), additional details about the handset have surfaced. Prior to this we were treated to some details about the upcoming phone.

It was said that the phone would feature a 3.2MP rear-facing camera and dual-SIM capabilities. It is also expected to feature a 4-inch display. Well thanks to the new details, we now know that the upcoming SM-Z130H will feature a 480×800 resolution which seems to be in line with the 4-inch display rumors.

It also appears to be powered by a 1.2GHz processor, although the maker of the chipset was not specified, so we could either be looking at a Qualcomm chipset or perhaps one of Samsung’s very own Exynos processors. There is no telling when Samsung will be launching the SM-Z130H but if you’re really curious about Tizen, there is already the Samsung Z which might be of interest to you.
