zenwatch gplayAbout a week ago, ASUS announced that their smartwatch the ZenWatch would be going on sale come 9th of November. The device can be bought via retailers such as Best Buy and it was also mentioned that the device would be eventually making its way over onto the Google Play Store along with the rest of the Android Wear devices.

Well the semi-good news is that it looks like the ASUS ZenWatch has arrived at the Google Play Store but unfortunately for now it has been listed as “Coming Soon”. We can’t be sure what is with the hold up, but given that there have been some reports of the quantities of the ZenWatch being limited, perhaps Google has yet to receive their batch of the devices that they can sell, and might simply have put the page up just to notify customers of its impending arrival.

Given that the watch is already on sale since the 9th of November, we can only assume and hope that its availability on Google Play will arrive sooner rather than later. However if the Sony SmartWatch 3 is any indication, there is a chance that we could end up waiting for its release for quite a while (the Sony SW3 took about a month before it was made available for purchase).

Either way we will be keeping our eyes peeled, so check back with us at a later date for the details.
