Rumors are increasingly making out tablets with large displays to be the next hot trend in the market. It is consistently being rumored that Apple is working on an iPad Pro with a 12-inch+ display. Just yesterday we heard something similar about the Microsoft Surface Pro. Today its Samsung’s turn. Rumor has it that the company is working on a 13-inch tablet which it plans to release before the end of this year. Given that we’re already in November, it shouldn’t take too long if this tablet really is to come out.

The rumor, which originates from Korea, doesn’t provide much details about this 13-inch Samsung tablet. However there’s speculation that instead of going with a Super AMOLED display Samsung might turn to a LCD display for this tablet.

Specifications are not known at this point in time so it can not be said for sure whether this is going to be a purely high-end tablet that’s geared more towards businesses and the education sector as opposed to individual customers. At least that’s the market people expect Apple and Microsoft to target with their larger tablets.

It merits mentioning here that this isn’t the first time there have been rumors about a 13-inch tablet from Samsung, though the company has never acknowledge the existence of such a device. It is maintaining radio silence even now, so take this rumor with a grain of salt.
