Universal Studios recently confirmed the cast of the highly anticipated Steve Jobs movie that couldn’t quite get off the ground over at Sony Pictures. Sony unloaded it to Universal which tied up the loose ends, confirmed cast and started filming. The first of what I’m sure will be many pre-release shots have appeared online and they give us a glimpse of what Michael Fassbender and Seth Rogen look like portraying Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak respectively.

These photos were taken at the De Anza College in Cupertino which is close to Apple HQ. This is the location where Apple unveiled iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus as well as the Apple Watch in September 2014.

The shots were posted online by a Twitter user called @motro68. Even though they were quickly picked up and spread online the original tweet has since disappeared. Even the account appearas to have been deactivated.

Danny Boyle, known for Slumdog Millionaire, is directing. The film will cover three of the most important product launches in Apple’s history. It will also touch on Steve Jobs’ personal life. It is based on the official biography of the Apple co-founder by Walter Isaacson with Aaron Sorkin writing the screenplay.

A release date has not yet been confirmed. Since the movie is clearly filming currently it could take a considerable amount of time for it to go through post and edits before its deemed ready for public release.
