Samsung is one of the many companies that will present its new flagship devices at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona next month. We have already heard a lot about this device, some whispers might be true and some false, but there is no denying the fact that already considerable hype has been generated for the upcoming flagship. Now add this one to the list: according to a report the Galaxy S6 is going to support wireless charging straight out of the box.

Reports out of Korea suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S6 is going to support wireless charging from the get go. Keep in mind that these reports contradict with what we have already heard, about Galaxy S6 having a metal body, that particular build material isn’t known for playing nice with magnetic induction wireless charging.

If what we hear now is true then it is possible that the backplate on Galaxy S6 might not be made entirely out of metal. It is also unlikely that Samsung will place plastic inserts to enable the wireless charging electro-magnetic waves to go through.

Currently there is ample speculation about the features and specifications of Samsung’s upcoming flagship. The company itself has confirmed little and seeing as how its MWC press event is barely two weeks away its not about to start dismissing these rumors now.
