World of Tanks is a free to play title that was initially released for the Xbox 360. It is pretty impressive for a free title and those who came to like it on the previous generation console will be delighted to find out that World of Tanks Xbox One release has formally been confirmed today. The free to play title is coming to Microsoft’s latest console later this year.

A new trailer for this title has been released today which brings the confirmation from both Microsoft and the developer Wargaming. World of Tanks will be available for Xbox One later on in 2015.

The next generation version of this title is going to bring support for gameplay between Xbox 360 and Xbox One and members will be able to take advantage of cross-platform play as well. Community options and content updates will also be sent out to members.

Its going to be free to play on Xbox One as well but gamers will be able to improve their experience through in-app purchases. Those who played it on Xbox 360 will be able to carry their in-game progress and account information.

World of Talks is already available for Xbox 360 and the PC. No release date has been confirmed for the Xbox One but it is promised that the title will be out in 2015.
