oppo-leakSharp certainly did cause quite a stir last year with the release of their extremely slim handset that had very little bezel to show in the form of the Aquos Crystal, and you can tell that this is a design route that is worth imitating, or at least this is what we have stumbled upon with a leaked handset from the folks over at Oppo, who seem to have worked on a handset that has really thin side bezels, that they can be said to be close to non-existent.

Both images and a video have been leaked out concerning this unannounced Oppo handset, but other than that, additional details remain unknown, ranging from the hardware specifications to the kind of color as well as pricing and availability details.

However, there seems to be an Oppo patent that does look as though Oppo is making use of a light refracting technology which will help provide the illusion that the device has no side bezels whatsoever. Pretty brilliant optical illusion of sorts, don’t you think so? Such a design might be nice to look at, but it might just lead to usability issues in the long run since there is no longer any more place for one to rest their fingers or palms without touching the display.
