Asus-ZenWatch-01Given how pretty the first-gen ASUS ZenWatch was, we’re sure many are looking forward to seeing what the company could do with a second-generation device, like will it see a redesign, new features, better hardware, and so on. The good news is that you won’t have to wait too long to find out more.

According to a report from Focus Taiwan (via Android Central), it seems that ASUS CEO Jerry Shen revealed during an earnings conference call that the ASUS ZenWatch 2 will be officially unveiled next month at Computex which will take place in Taiwan from the 2nd of June until the 6th of June.

Even better news is that if you like what you see, you won’t have to wait too long to get your hands on it either as the device is expected to be released in Q3 2015, although no specific dates were mentioned. Apparently earlier quotes from Shen about the watch not being ready until 2016 was a misunderstanding.

So far not much is known about the ZenWatch 2, but some reports claim it will feature an upgraded battery that could last 4 days on a single charge. An earlier report also claimed that the device could be offered in male or female variants which we’re assuming could differ in size, design, or maybe the type of straps that are offered with the watch.
