Encore-LS-3If you’re in the market for a new set of headphones and you would prefer something stylish versus the more “boring” black and somber designs of regular headphones, you might be interested in a company called LSTN as they have launched a new pair of headphones dubbed Encore.

As you can see in the images above and below, these are not your typical pair of headphones as they have been designed with a vintage-inspired look in mind. The cups of headphones are made from real ebony wood and are an over-ear design, meaning that they cup around your ears as opposed to sitting on top of them.

The headphones will come with their own carrying pouch, a nylon-wrapped detachable cable with a built-in microphone. The headphones will feature a frequency response from 18Hz to 22kHz, a 32 Ohm impedance, a sensitivity of 101+/-3db, and a gold plated plug. That being said, these headphones aren’t exactly cheap with a price tag of $200.

However the upside is that if you’re also looking to do a bit of charity work, with every purchase of the Encore headphones, proceeds of the purchase will donated to the Starkey Hearing Foundation although the company did not mention exactly how much, but if you don’t mind doing your part for society, why not?
