oneplus-2-display

OnePlus has already confirmed when it’s going to unveil its new smartphone but until that happens we can expect to hear rumors and see leaks related to the OnePlus 2. A couple of features of the handsets have already been confirmed by the company but it has been mum on the display, a Weibo user has posted what appears to be a sketch of the handset, claiming that it may have a 5.5 inch or 5.7 inch display.

Many eagerly await the launch of the OnePlus 2, which takes over from the OnePlus One, this nascent company’s first smartphone that has done quite well for itself.

From what we know about the handset right now, it’s going to have the Snapdragon 810 processor from Qualcomm as well as a USB Type C port, this much OnePlus has confirmed itself.

The Weibo tipster also says that the device’s design will be quite similar to the OnePlus One with only minor changes being made, it’s said to be just 5mm to 6mm thin.

OnePlus One has a 5.5 inch 1,080×1,920 pixel resolution display, if rumors are to be believed its successor might have a 5.7 inch Quad HD display, but that hasn’t been confirmed by the company just yet.

OnePlus 2 is slated for launch on July 27th.
