We know that feeling of having to wake up early in the morning and thinking about all the work that needs to be done. Suddenly you just don’t feel like waking up anymore and want to call it quits. However if you need a better way to be woken up in the morning, other than the harsh sounds of your alarm, SensorWake is an alarm clock you might want to consider getting.

What SensorWake does is that instead of the usual blaring tone of the alarm in the morning, the alarm clock will wake users up with the smell of a freshly baked croissant, or any other smell that the creators are offering with the device. Users can choose from a variety of smells like coffee, chocolate, the seaside, freshly cut grass, and more, depending on your personal preference.

Now according to its creators, they found that during their tests, they were able to wake up their subjects in just under 2 minutes 99% of the time. As for that 1% who refused to wake up to the smell of a freshly baked pastry, fret not as there is also a regular built-in alarm that will automatically go off after 3 minutes if not disabled.

The different smells are loaded into the clock like a cartridge and like we said, there are plenty of different choices to choose from. We’re not sure if in the long run you will start salivating automatically like Pavlov’s dog in the morning, but it does sound like a pretty awesome idea and if you’d like to help fund its Kickstarter campaign, head on over to its website for the details.
