apple logoIt is widely believed that Apple will be hosting an event some time in September. This event will most likely be the announcement of the Cupertino company’s new iPhones but when exactly will this event take place? According to a report from BuzzFeed, it has been revealed that the 9th of September could be the date we’re looking at.

This is based on BuzzFeed’s sources so it should be noted that this is not official, although in the past the website has gotten some of their rumors right so maybe they could be right about this one as well. It should also be noted that the 9th of September is also the same date that Apple held their iPhone event last year, so for Apple to repeat their dates would not be a stretch.

The event will most likely see the launch of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, but the report also claims that we could be treated to the announcement of the new Apple TV. This was originally pegged for a launch in June during WWDC but for some reason or other, Apple decided to scrap the announcement then.

Last but not least, the report claims that we could also be treated to the announcement of the rumored 12.9-inch iPad Pro. We’re a little skeptical about this Apple’s iPhone and iPad announcements are usually made separately, and if the rumors are to be believed, the iPad Pro’s launch is scheduled for next year. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but we’ll definitely be keeping an out for Apple’s invites.
