moto-360-sportEarlier this month, the new Moto 360 (2015) was launched and if you were hoping to get your smartwatch on time, there is a chance that it could have been delayed. According to several user reports on the XDA Forums, it seems that Motorola has been sending out emails to some of their customers informing them of a potential delay.

According to the users, they received emails from Motorola several weeks ago to inform them that their watch was being built. However they then received a follow-up email informing them that due to technical difficulties with their ordering and shipping system, it seems that their orders/shipping might have been delayed.

The email reads, “I am very sorry we’re late delivering your customized Motorola device. We experienced technical difficulties with our ordering and shipping system. We are working hard to get your device to you as soon as possible, and we will send you an updated estimated shipping date as soon as we can. I apologize for the inconvenience, and I am grateful for your patience.”

Based on this, it sounds like the issue here is with the system itself, as opposed to the actual product being defective hence the delay. It is unclear as to how long of a delay this will result in, but if you have ordered a Moto 360 (2015), maybe you should check your emails to see if you have received similar messages from Motorola as well.
