samsung-logoWith Samsung’s releases this year with the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, and the Galaxy S6 Edge+, it can only be assumed that next year, the Galaxy S7 could come in similar flat screen and curved variants. In fact according to a recent report, we have heard how the phone might come in two different sizes.

The rumor claims that it will arrive in 5.2-inch and 5.5-inch variants but now according to a report from GSMArena, it seems that we can actually expect three different screen sizes. GSMArena cites their contacts at ITSKINS who told them that there will be three screen size options for the Galaxy S7 which will come in 5.1-inch, 5.5-inch, and 6-inch options.

Additional details of their report claims that the 5.1-inch and 5.5-inch models will only be available in flat screen options, while the 6-inch Galaxy S7 is said to be available in both flat and curved screen options. Apart from the difference in screen sizes, we are not sure if they will differ under the hood in terms of hardware components.

We have to say that this report kind of throws previous rumors out of line, not to mention it would be hard for Samsung to try and juggle three flagship variants at once. The company was already struggling to meet demand last year when they launched two variants of the Galaxy S6, so imagine trying to meet the demand of three. In any case take it with a grain of salt for now, but what do you guys make of this latest rumor?
