The political arena in the United States has heated up quite a bit over the past few months as presidential hopefuls gear up for the elections next year, however much of America would also like to know what one of their favorite fictional leaders is up to, and they’ll be glad to know that Netflix has confirmed the House of Cards season 4 release date. Fans will certainly be anxious to know what has Frank Underwood been up to since THAT explosive ending in the previous season.

Netflix chose an interesting time to air the ad spot announcing the House of Cards season 4 release date, the ad was aired during last night’s Republican presidential debate.

It may have fooled many viewers to think that the ad was just one of the many that the candidates have been airing these days, it had all the markings of one, with images of America’s beautiful landscape and hard working people, only for the interesting twist to come in where we see Frank Underwood behind the desk in the Oval Office, looking dead straight in the camera and saying “America, I’m only getting started.”

House of Cards has proven to be one of the most popular original shows that Netflix has produced, it has fun critical acclaim as well as multiple Emmy awards. In true Netflix fashion all episodes of House of Cards season 4 will be released on Friday, March 4th, 2016.
