nexus 5x priceThe Nexus 5X was launched last year where it was priced at $380. While the device had some pretty decent specs, the unfortunate reality is that all eyes were on the metal-clad Nexus 6P from Huawei instead. However if the Nexus 5X is more to your liking, especially in terms of price, you will be interested to learn that it is now even cheaper.

According to a tweet from the official Nexus account, Google has announced that they will be slashing the price of the Nexus 5X down to $350. Note that it says “starting at” which means that 16GB model will be priced at $350, but in case 16GB wasn’t enough, the 32GB model also had its price cut from $430 to a slightly more affordable $400.

Also based on the way Google has phrased the announcement, it seems like this price cut isn’t a promotion, but rather it seems like this will be the new permanent price of the Nexus 5X for the foreseeable future, at least until the next-gen Nexus handsets are announced, in which we expect that there will be further price cuts.

In any case, if this makes the phone more appealing to you, then you can head on over to the Google Play Store to purchase the handset.
