outlook-androidwearOne of the perks of owning a smartwatch is that instead of having to continuously fish your phone out of your pockets, you can just look at your wrist to know what time it is, what the date is, what the weather is like, as well as check on notifications like calls, text messages, emails, alerts, and whatnot.

Now if you’re a user of Microsoft Outlook, you might be interested to learn that in an update to their Outlook app for Android, Microsoft has basically created a version that is compatible with Android Wear as well. This means that you’ll be able to load the app on your Android Wear device and check your emails on the go.

According to Microsoft’s description of the app, “This week, we’re bringing the best of Outlook to Android Wear. Stop reaching out for your phone, everything is now happening on your watch. Check your Outlook notifications, read your new emails and reply with pre-set messages or voice dictation right from your wrist. It’s never been that easy to manage your inbox.”

Of course replying emails while talking to your wrist might still be something of a social faux pas, but if you’re all about conveniences then you might want to check it out. The latest version of Outlook is currently available via the Google Play Store so head on over to get your hands (and wrists) on it.
