You may not be too inclined to pay $9.99 per month for YouTube Red, a service that provides ad-free access to YouTube, though you can get all of YouTube’s content free if you just sit through some advertisements, notwithstanding the exception of some original series. Couple that with a subscription to Google’s music streaming service and you might be enticed, and if you’re still not convinced, Google is going to give you a four-month free trial to check out both services.

Google is offering this four-month free trial of YouTube Red and Google Play Music as a promotional offer to commemorate July 4th, the trial is absolutely free of charge for four months.

A one-month subscription to both Google Play Music and YouTube red costs $9.99 per month combined so a four-month free subscription certainly saves new subscribers a substantial amount of money.

Sign up by the Fourth of July and you get access to both services free for four months. You won’t be charged $9.99 per month until after November this year, provided that you decide to continue using both services. If you decide not to carry on after the trial ends there’s no obligation to buy a subscription.

This promotion is only being offered to new subscribers, if you already subscribed to Google Play Music or YouTube Red in the past you can’t take advantage of this promotion.
