tinder_boostAt its core, Tinder is simple enough to use. You create a profile, and whenever you’re within someone’s range, your profile and photo will pop up and the other person can swipe left or right if they dislike/like you. However Tinder has evolved over the years and a new feature they have introduced is called Tinder Boost.

Basically it lets your profile be amongst the top profiles in the area for 30 minutes at a time. According to Tinder, “Tinder Boost gives you exactly that: a way to be one of the top profiles in your area for 30 minutes. Increase your chances for a match—you can get up to 10x more profile views while boosting.”

In a way it’s kind of like boosting posts on Facebook where it will be constantly shown to users for a set period of time, thus increasing visibility and awareness. In this case, it would be your online dating profile. Now this feature is available to all Tinder users, but for subscribers to Tinder Plus, you will be given one free Boost a week.

For non-Tinder Plus subscribers, you will be able to purchase a Boost whenever you want, but pricing has yet to be determined. The feature is currently being tested in Australia and is expected to be made available around the world soon.
