battlefield-1-single-player
Battlefield is undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated games of 2016. EA has been doing well to keep the hype going by teasing us with footage from the game. It has released a new Battlefield 1 teaser today which showcases some seriously heavy weaponry. The teaser actually provides us a glimpse of the Avanti Savoia mission.

In the Avanti Savoia mission players will take control of a soldier in the Italian mountaineer regiment. It’s all part of the unique single-player mode that has been created for Battlefield 1.

The soldier that players take control of serves as a shock trooper that’s tasked with breaking the enemy’s defences. It’s not something that’s easily done so the soldier employs weapons like a flamethrower and a heavy machine gun. It’s pretty cool if I do say so myself.

Battlefield 1’s single-player campaign is made up of five different war stories titled Friends in High Places, Through Mud and Blood, The Runner, Nothing is Written, and Avanti Savoia. DICE, the developer of this game, said it went with this strategy to highlight the less widely known elements of World War 1 on which this game is based.

Battlefield 1 is going to be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 21st. EA and Origin Access members can start playing the game early on October 13th.
