samsung-mwc-teaserSamsung has recently confirmed that they will be at MWC 2017 and they have posted an invite on its website. The company will be holding a press conference on the 26th of February, 2017 and it is expected to kick off at 7PM CET, and as you can clearly see in the invite, Samsung is teasing some kind of device announcement.

Before you jump to conclusions, we should remind you guys that Samsung had previously confirmed that they will not be announcing the Galaxy S8 at MWC 2017, so you can pretty much cancel out that idea. So if it isn’t the Galaxy S8, what could it be? It is possible that we could be looking at new wearables, especially since Samsung recently filed for the trademark for the “Gear Fit Pro”.

An alternate theory is that it could be a tablet announcement. Recently the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 made its way through the FCC so it is possible that maybe the announcement could be for the device, or maybe even both. Either way it looks like Samsung has something to share so remember to check back with us then for the details.

For Galaxy S8 hopefuls, last we heard Samsung was planning an end of March announcement which is more or less a month after MWC 2017, so you guys still have a bit of waiting to do before then.
