The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to be officially announced on the 29th of March, but according to a report from Ausdroid, it seems that Samsung Australia has already started to accept registrations for those who are interested in the upcoming handset, which in the process has also confirmed the colors of the phone.

Based on the leaks we’ve seen so far, the Galaxy S8 is expected to come in at least three colors: black, silver, and violet. The third option is a bit suspect because just recently a photo was leaked that showed off the phone in gold, and the report from Ausdroid also confirms that the phone will be available in black, silver, and gold.

Maybe violet will be offered in other markets but for now maybe you shouldn’t hold your breath. Note that this registration is not a pre-order of the phone, but rather users should just put their emails and Samsung Australia will notify them when the phone has been launch and is ready for purchase.

No word on when exactly that will be, but last we heard it could be on the 21st of April with a 10th of April pre-order date. Either way we should find out in the next couple of weeks, so check back with us then for the details.
