If you’re looking to get your hands on the LTE-enabled LG Watch Sport, you might want to look elsewhere other than Verizon because according to a report from Droid-Life, it seems that the carrier has sent out emails to customers who ordered the device to inform them that they will no longer be carrying the smartwatch.

Verizon has since confirmed that this is the case to Droid-Life but did not provide further clarification. LG has also yet to respond to the cancellation so for now, we are left in the dark as to why that is. The watch has been available for months so its sudden cancellation does seem a little odd. Droid-Life also notes that all mention of the device has been wiped from Verizon’s sales pages, along with LG’s website which currently only lists AT&T’s model.

However the good news is that customers who were affected by the sudden cancellation have been offered $100 off other smartwatches, so if you’re affected you should be able to receive a $100 discount on another smartwatch. We’re not sure if this is a partnership issue, hardware issue, or stock issue, but for now AT&T is your only choice should you desire an LTE-enabled smartwatch of LG’s making.
