Square Enix confirmed at Gamescom this week that it’s going to release Final Fantasy XV for PC. The version headed to the desktop is called Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition. Square Enix has now confirmed the PC requirements for this game. Those who are interested in playing Final Fantasy XV on their PC should certainly check out the requirements to make sure that their machine is compatible.

The recommended specs for Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition include an Intel Core i7 3.4GHz or Ryzen 7 1700 processor coupled with 16GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 1080Ti processor, Windows 10, and 170GB of free storage space.

These specs were mentioned in the original video that Square Enix posted on its official YouTube channel. It has since taken down this video but the screen capture reveals that Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is going to have support for native 4K (3840×2160) resolution and HDR 10.

Windows 10 Creators Update compatibility is needed for HDR 10 support. Players will have the ability to configure graphical options to support up to 8K.

The minimum specs for Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition will likely be confirmed in due time. Square Enix has only confirmed so far that this title is heading to the PC. It hasn’t confirmed as yet precisely when it will be released. Square Enix did say that the game will be out by early next year.
