Hulu has announced that it has added the fifth largest broadcast network to its standalone online TV streaming service. Aimed at cord cutters, Hulu’s Live TV service already offers Fox, CBS, ABC, and NBC. The CW will soon be available for live streaming on Hulu’s over-the-top internet TV streaming service.

The fifth major broadcast network, the CW, is home to some popular shows like Supergirl, Arrow, and The Flash. Those who subscribe to Hulu’s online TV streaming service will now be able to watch a linear stream of the channel live using the online service.

Hulu is also going to add local station broadcasts so that subscribers see the same programming online that they will receive when watching over-the-air. The company hasn’t confirmed when The CW will go live on its service, though.

It has only said that Hulu subscribers will be able to stream The CW “in the coming months.” The current season of the network’s shows will be available on demand so that’s an added benefit for subscribers.

Hulu has recently been improving its live TV streaming service. Not too long ago, it announced support for PC and Mac, while confirming that it’s working on a much better browser-based version of the service.
