Hulu has a couple of different subscription tiers for users to choose from. One of those tiers is the live TV tier which is more expensive, but now it looks like it’s going to become even more expensive where it will now cost an extra $5 a month. However, there is some good news on that front.

While subscribers will be paying $5 extra a month for their subscription, it seems that Disney will be bundling Disney+ and ESPN+ with the subscription. This means that while you are paying more, you will also be getting more content to choose from while you stream. Prior to this, Disney was selling Hulu + Live TV as a standalone subscription, but it looks like that will no longer be the case starting on the 21st of December.

For those wondering how much this translates to, Hulu + Live TV with ads will now cost $69.99, up $5 from its previous price of $64.99, while Hulu + Live TV without ads will cost $75.99, up from its previous price of $70.99. Hulu notes that customers who already have an existing Disney+ and ESPN+ subscription will have those rolled over into the new plan.

That being said, an increase of $5 is rather substantial, even though you will be getting more content, but there are some who might not necessarily want said new content. It remains to be seen if this could end up forcing customers to just cancel their subscriptions outright, but what say you?
