Despite announcing HomePod in 2017, not much is known about Apple’s upcoming speaker. We know that it will come with Siri built into it which can also be used to control your smart home appliances, but now potential new features might have been revealed in the form of various “scenes” that users can set.

This is according to a tweet by iHelp BR’s Filipe Esposito in which he discovered new icons in the latest iOS 11 beta. In the beta and in the Home app’s private framework, these new icons were discovered which seems to show some potentially new scenes that one could use with the HomePod speakers, one of which is highlighted in the image above which seems to be a feature that lets users disable Siri.

It shows multiple iOS devices next to the speaker which could mean support for multiple devices at once. There is also an icon that shows two HomePod speakers and a party icon, which could indicate that one could connect multiple HomePod speakers together to help create a louder effect or multiroom support.

In any case it’s really anyone’s guess as to what these icons could indicate, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to find out. The HomePod was recently spotted at the FCC, with an earlier report claiming that one of Apple’s suppliers has already sent out a batch for shipping, all of which seems to indicate that we could be getting close to an official launch.
