If you’ve always fancied brewing your own beer at home, maybe because you’re particular about achieving a specific taste, or if you wanted to save money, or just for the fun of it, you might be interested in the Brewie+. This is a machine designed to help you brew your own beer from the comfort of your own home.

If you’re wondering why the name sounds familiar, it is because several years ago the company launched the original Brewie, so clearly the Brewie+ is the successor and will naturally come with new and upgraded features. This includes changing pumps and heating elements inside of the machine to make them better and more efficient, which ended up shaving about an hour off the time it takes to brew.

The new sensors will also make calibration easier, and it has also been improved where it won’t be as sensitive anymore as to what kind of surface the machine sits on. The amount of RAM in the machine has also been doubled to boost its performance. As to what kind of beer you can brew, you’re free to use your own grains and hops if you prefer.

However Brewie will also be selling pre-packed ingredients called Brewie Pads that will help take out some of the guesswork. Unfortunately like its predecessor, the Brewie+ does not come cheap. It will be priced at $2,400 but to celebrate its launch, the company will be knocking $600 off the price tag temporarily, so head on over to its website if you want to get in on it.
