A couple of years ago, Microsoft launched an AI-powered camera app called Pix. For those who are still using it, or for users who are looking for a quick and easy way to add business cards to their phone contacts, Microsoft has updated the app where it will now be able to recognize and add business cards to your contacts.

According to Microsoft’s announcement on its blog, “The new Business Card feature for iPhones makes it quick and easy for you to add contacts, not only to your iPhone’s address book but also to your LinkedIn account. To use, simply open Pix and point your iPhone at a contact’s business card. Microsoft Pix automatically detects this and asks if you would like to take action.”

Also given that Microsoft owns LinkedIn, it isn’t surprising to see that the app will also have some kind of integration with the platform. In addition, the app will also be able to organize things like numbers, email addresses, and URLs, placing them in the correct fields on iOS devices. Users will also be able to see that person’s job title, work experience, and so on.

The update should already be live so if you haven’t updated the app already, or if you have yet to check it out, Pix is a free download from the iTunes App Store.
