The last time we saw Watch Dogs was with Watch Dogs 2 that was launched in 2016, but could Watch Dogs 3 already be in the works? Given the popularity of the franchise we wouldn’t be surprised if it was, but now it looks like Ubisoft might have confirmed it themselves, or rather it might be Ubisoft’s own AI service Sam who confirmed it.

For those unfamiliar, Sam is a digital assistant Ubisoft created specifically for gaming purposes. It was launched earlier this year and according to YouTuber UbiCentral, when players asked Sam about Watch Dogs 3, the digital assistant replied by saying that the game isn’t finished yet, suggesting that it might already be in the works.

However it is possible that the information might be wrong and that Ubisoft might not be working on Watch Dogs 3 yet. However like we said the popularity of the franchise means that Ubisoft probably has plans for a third installment in the series, but when exactly it will be launched is anyone’s guess.

With E3 2018 coming up in the next couple of months, we guess it is possible that Ubisoft might make an announcement then, but we’ll just have to wait and see. In the meantime it’s probably best to take it with a grain of salt for now.
