Earlier this year Nintendo announced a new Mario game for the Nintendo Switch in the form of Mario Tennis Aces. Last we heard the game is set for a release on the 22nd of June and the good news is that if you wanted to check out the game before buying it, you’ll be pleased to learn that there will be a playable demo ahead of its release.

Similar to what Nintendo ahead of the launch of ARMS and Splatoon 2, Mario Tennis Aces will be getting a playable demo, although in this particular instance, Nintendo is framing it as an online tournament of sorts. It will be going live on the 1st of June and will run until the 3rd of June.

The times listed in the trailer above are presumably for Japan which means that if you live in the US or other parts of the world, you’ll have to adjust your time accordingly., but basically it looks like it will run from 6PM June 1st until 11:59PM June 3rd. There will be four playable characters during the demo, such as Mario, Peace, Yoshi, and Bowser, and five more that can be unlocked as you progress in the game.

So far from what we can tell, the trailer of the game does look pretty fun and if you’re after a party game, this could be worth checking out, so fire up your console come 1st June if you’d like to take it for a spin!
