We have been hearing rumors that Samsung could be thinking of launching the Galaxy Note 9 earlier than expected, with some rumors claiming it could take place as early as July. However according to a new report from Bloomberg, it seems that it might be slightly later than July and could instead be launched on the 9th of August.

The report goes on to add that the phone would then be scheduled for a release later in the month. For the most, Bloomberg’s report is still keeping true to the earlier rumors of an early launch. Last year’s Galaxy Note 8 was launched towards the end of August, so a 9th of August launch is still considered earlier than last year.

As for specs and features, that’s still anyone’s guess although it’s not hard to imagine that it will be packing the latest hardware, such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, have anywhere between 6-8GB of RAM, and a dual camera setup, although as per Bloomberg’s report, Samsung is said to be planning an upgrade to the Note 9’s camera system.

As for security features, we expect that the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner will still be present along with iris scanning. In any case take it with a grain of salt, but we should have all the details in the coming months so do check back with us then for more updates.
