A couple of weeks ago we reported that Nintendo would be launching a playable demo for the upcoming Mario Tennis Aces. This demo would be playable from the 1st to the 3rd of June for Nintendo Switch gamers, giving them a taste of what’s to come. The good news is that if you’re a Switch owner, the demo is now live and playable.

Gamers could actually preload the demo since last week but in case you forgot to download or are learning about it for the first time, not to worry as you can still download it. Like we said the demo will run from the 1st of June where it kicked off at 6pm PT/9pm ET and will be playable all the way until the 3rd of June where it will end at 11:59pm PT.

This isn’t your regular tennis game and we guess in a way fills the gap that many Switch owners probably miss from Tennis in Wii Sports. It will feature the use of various characters from the Mario franchise, such as Mario, Luigi, Dry Bones, Bowser, and more. Each character will have a unique characteristic and there will be power ups, racket durability, and more.

For those who enjoyed the demo, Nintendo is encouraging gamers to pre-purchase the game where they will receive bonus points. “And for a limited time, you can earn double Gold Points when you pre-purchase Mario Tennis Aces! Receive a bonus of 300 My Nintendo Gold Points when you pre-purchase the digital version of the Mario Tennis Aces game through Nintendo eShop or Nintendo.com (where available).”
