There are music festivals for pretty much any genre of music, and while some festivals are pretty mainstream and well-known, there might be a ton of others that you might not be aware of. To that end Spotify wants to help you with that and have teamed up with Festicket to recommend users festivals to go to based on your listening habits.

This means is that based on a scan of your listening history, Spotify will know what kind of music you might enjoy listening to, and then list available festivals whose tickets you can then purchase through Festickets. According to Festicket’s CEO Zack Sabban, “We now offer over 1,000 festivals on the platform, and we know first-hand how overwhelming it can be when trying to pick out the one to go to.”

He adds, “Our Festival Finder solves that problem by presenting a tailored list of festivals that best match your listening habits, including some under the radar gems that could soon become your new favourite festival destination.” Of course how accurate these recommendations are remains to be seen, but if you do enjoy music festivals then this could come in handy.

If this sounds like something you might be interested in, taking advantage of this feature is pretty easy and straightforward. All users have to do is connect their Spotify account with Festicket and they’ll be good to go.
