Wireless headphones are starting to become more popular these days, a necessity in a world where handset makers are starting to ditch the headphone jack. Now there are plenty of wireless options in the market today, but if you’re after a pair of headphones that can withstand the rigors of exercise, then Jaybird’s Tarah headphones might be for you.

In terms of design, the Tarah headphones look like your standard wireless headphones. These aren’t the “true” wireless kind like the AirPods, but rather they are connected with a wire between the earbuds. Some might prefer this style as it does offer up a better sense of security, but there are some who might not appreciate the cable rubbing across their neck.

The earbuds will also feature hooks/tips that will allow for a more secure fit in your ears, in case the bundled tips somehow don’t fit. In terms of resistance, Jaybird claims that they are IPX7 certified water and sweatproof, and can even go underwater up to a meter deep for 30 minutes, which means that rinsing them off shouldn’t be an issue, but maybe don’t go swimming with them.

Jaybird is also boasting a 10 hour battery life and a 10 minute charge is enough to get you an hour’s worth of listening. There will be a bundled app for iOS and Android that will let users further adjust EQ settings. As for pricing, the Jaybird Tarah will be priced at $100 and will be available for purchase via Jaybird’s website.
