#IFA18 – Hearing aids have come a long way since they were first introduced back in the day. For those who have need of such devices, GN has announced the launch of the ReSound LINX Quattro, which according to the company is the “world’s first Premium-Plus” hearing aid solution, and is apparently preferred 95% of the time of music listening.According to GN, one of the key features of the ReSound LiNX Quattro is that it provides 100% faster processing, offers double the memory, and has a 35% increase in frequency bandwidth. It will be capable of generating more complex Layers of Sound which will result in fewer distortions, which we imagine that people who use hearing aids can probably appreciate.
There will also be a feature in the form of ReSound Assist that can connect the wearer to their hearing care providers. This means that for users who stay in more remote locations and don’t have easy access to such professionals, not to worry as the ReSound Assist will allow them to adjust and tune the hearing aids without a need to make a trip to the clinic.
