It appears that GoPro will soon be announcing a new action camera. The company is best known for its action cameras and despite some its troubles recently, it continues to do what it does best. The GoPro Hero 7 hasn’t been officially announced yet but a store display that has gone up early has essentially confirmed that it’s coming soon.

The going has been tough for GoPro over the past couple of years. It has responded by tidying up its camera lineup, launching a new entry-level camera, and entered the 360-degree camera business as well. The company has also given up on making drones after the not so stellar performance of its first drone.

Images have surfaced on Reddit of a store display for the GoPro Hero 7. It shows that the camera will be available in white, silver, and black colors. Some features that are staple on GoPro cameras such as image stabilization and waterproofing and mentioned as well.

The display also shows that some of the models won’t have a front screen which is similar to what we saw with the GoPro Hero 4 series. The silver model in that series didn’t have the front screen but the black one did.

GoPro hasn’t said anything about this new camera as yet but reports suggest that the Hero 7 action camera will be announced later this month. No word as yet on how much it would cost.
