We have been hearing rumors that Apple could be getting ready to launch a pair of refreshed AirPods headphones, but any AirPods-related announcement was missing at Apple’s event last month which saw Apple launch a redesigned iPad Pro, an updated MacBook Air, and also finally refreshed its Mac Mini lineup.

However it seems that a refresh could still very much be in the works, at least according to MySmartPrice (via MacRumors) in which they spotted new AirPods models at the Bluetooth database, suggesting that new models could be in the works. It is unclear as to when these refreshed models will be launched, and if Apple might announce anything or if the Apple Online Store will simply be updated with the new model.

It is also unclear as to what changes the new models will bring to the table. We have heard rumors of possible noise cancellation as being one of the features, although some are saying that this might not arrive until the third-gen model. We have also heard that the new AirPods might be more water-resistant which should help with using it during exercise.

There is also a refresh where the new models will apparently launch with a wireless charging case, but in any case we’ll have to wait and see so check back with us later for more updates.
