While high-end smartphones certainly make for better news and publicity, and also does a good job of showing off a company’s technology, the price of such devices typically means that there are a good number of customers out there who cannot afford them, such as those living in developing countries.

The good news is that if you are in the market for an affordable Android handset that won’t break the bank, Samsung might have something for you in the form of the Samsung Galaxy J4 Core. This is the company’s latest Android Go handset and follows the Galaxy J2 Core that was announced back in August earlier this year.

In terms of specs, as an Android Go device, there really isn’t much to shout about as we are looking at the use of a 6-inch 1480×720 display. There will also be a 1.4GHz quad-core processor under the hood along with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage via microSD card.

There will also be an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and will come with a 3,300mAh battery with Android 8.1 Oreo (Go edition) preinstalled. There is no word on pricing yet, but given that this is an Android Go phone, we doubt it will cost too much.
