In this day and age where handset makers are starting to remove the headphone jack from their devices, what this means is that more users are turning towards wireless headphones. Now there are plenty of wireless headphones in the market today geared towards fitness enthusiasts, and it looks like V-Moda has decided to toss their hat into the ring.

The company has recently taken the wraps off their latest wireless headphones in the form of the BassFit. As you can see in the photo above, the BassFit is a pair of wireless headphones with a hook around the ear section which we imagine should help keep them on the ears of the wearer more securely, especially if they’re going to be engaged in activities like running or jumping.

These aren’t what some would call “true” wireless headphones, but like we said, during more rigorous activities, having that cable around your neck is reassuring. According to V-Moda, the BassFits will feature support for both aptX and AAC codecs and have been designed to offer a low-end response, so if you do enjoy punchy bass sounds, these could be for you.

They are also sweat-resistant, an important feature for fitness-focused headphones, and are said to last up to 11 hours on a single charge, with a quick-charging feature that will give users an extra 2.5 hours after a 15 minute charge. The headphones are priced at $130 and are available via V-Moda’s website.
