Ever since smartphone manufacturers started to ditch the 3.5mm jack, this has resulted in many headphone makers to start coming up with more wireless options. Klipsch is one of those companies and they have recently taken the wraps off their latest “true” wireless earbuds in the form of the T5 True Wireless Headphones.

As you can see, right off the bat what managed to capture our attention regarding these headphones is its carrying case, which looks a lot like a Zippo lighter. As expected with such earbuds, its carrying case also pulls double duty where it acts as a charger as well. The headphones are said to be rated at 8 hours of battery life, but can be recharged an additional 3 times which means that you will be able to squeeze out more than a day’s worth of listening with them.

Unfortunately they do not necessarily come cheap, at least not compared to other options such as Apple’s AirPods. The Klipsch T5 True will be priced at $199 versus the $159 price tag of the AirPods, but if you prefer Klipsch as a brand and you love that cool carrying case, perhaps the asking price might be worth it.

No word on whether or not it will sound good, but they are expected to be shown off at CES 2019 next week so maybe we’ll find out more about them then.
