If a feature that you think is missing from Epic’s Fortnite Battle Royale is spectator mode, then you’ll be pleased to learn that Epic will be adding the feature to the game in the future. This is according to an email that Epic is said to be sending out to select Fortnite players were they were inviting them to take part in a private testing session.

The email reads, “Are you interested in joining Epic Games for an exclusive Fortnite private testing session in Los Angeles, California? If selected, you’ll be playing custom matches to help us test unreleased spectating features and tools that will be used in future events. As a token of our appreciation, Epic will provide free food and V-Bucks for your help with improving our tools!”

As the email states, the tests will be for spectating features which have been asked for by players for quite a while now. In fact one has to wonder why Epic has taken this long since spectator mode has become a mainstay in quite a majority of games. However we suppose better late than never, right?

Unfortunately the emails don’t tell us when the feature will be released, but it at the very least confirms that it is in the works.
