It was reported early last month that Netflix is going to release the second season of The Punisher in January. With the release just around the corner, the online streaming behemoth has released the first teaser for The Punisher season two. Frank Castle will be returning to Netflix and fans will be waiting to see if the show can build up on the success of the first season.
Three new cast members have been added to the series. They include Josh Stewart, Floriana Lima, and Giorgia Whigham who will be playing John Pilgrim, Krisa Dumont, and Amy Bendix respectively. Amber Rose Revah, Ben Barnes, and Jason R. Moore are likely reprising their roles from the first season.
Netflix has now released a new trailer for the second season of The Punisher. The teaser shows us Castle burning the pardon that he received at the very end of the first season. This goes to show that he will most certainly be back to his vigilantism as The Punisher.
No further information is available about the upcoming season at this point in time. Netflix says that the second season of this show is going to be released “soon.” It may not be long now before it arrives.
