The problem with streaming these days is that there are too many choices to pick from. Some believe that the sheer number of options available has made it too unrealistic for people to subscribe to all, resulting in piracy going back on the rise. However, if you are interested in free content, you might be in luck.

This is because if you’re a Plex customer, the company has announced that they have entered into a new deal with Warner Bros. in which it will see the company offer up content from Warner Bros.’s catalog of premium content for free. There is no such thing as a free lunch, and as such, the content offered will also come with ads.

According to Keith Valory, CEO of Plex, “Licensing these movies from Warner Bros. enables us to offer more types of third-party content than any other platform and bring it all together in one beautiful solution. Premium ad-supported movies and shows deserve first-class treatment alongside other content that consumers enjoy daily, as opposed to being orphaned in yet another stand-alone app.”

This content will be available to all Plex users, including those who might not be subscribed to Plex’s service paying tier. It will also be available to all users in the US.
