It has been a couple of weeks since the Samsung Galaxy Fold was relaunched. However, if you haven’t been following the news, the Galaxy Fold’s relaunch was only for the South Korean market. The good news for our readers stateside is that if you were looking forward to getting your hands on the phone, you’ll only have to wait a few more days.

Samsung has officially announced that the Galaxy Fold will be relaunching in the US market come 27th of September. Those of you eyeing the handset will have several options to choose from when buying it. It will be available through AT&T, select Best Buy locations, and also some of the Samsung Experience Store retail locations, where the latter two retailers will be selling the phone fully unlocked if that’s what you prefer.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold was initially set for a launch in the earlier part of the year but due to problems discovered in the review units that were sent out, Samsung recalled the phones to improve on the durability and overall build quality of the phone. Internally it is the same device, but Samsung has made some changes that will hopefully allow the phone to last longer.

So far initial impressions of the handset have been mixed, where it does not necessarily seem to be the smash hit that Samsung was hoping for. However, at the same time, there seems to be a lot of interest as we have read that the phones have been selling out (but it could also be due to the fact that there are a limited number of units).
