If watching live video game streams is your kind of thing, then you might be interested to learn that Twitch is currently testing out its app for the Apple TV. What this means is that in the future, you’ll be able to stream Twitch videos on your Apple TV if you prefer watching it on a TV with a larger screen instead of your monitor.

The jump to the Apple TV is actually surprisingly late. This is because Twitch has been around for a while now, and has been available on mobile and PC, so we’re not sure what took them so long to bring it to the Apple TV. The app is currently in beta, where if you’re interested you can actually test it out using Apple’s TestFlight platform.

According to Twitch, “We don’t want to be too prescriptive so explore the app, watch streams, and try out different features. If you find a bug, the app crashes on you, or you encounter other issues send us your feedback.” Twitch is currently the leading streaming platform when it comes to video games.

Last year, the company boasted over 2.2 million broadcasters with 15 million daily active users. We’re not sure when the app will be coming out of beta, but like we said, you can test it out if you wish.
