According to the rumors, Apple is set to refresh its iPad Pro lineup soon. Given that the last update took place in early 2020, it makes sense that the next update would take place around the same time this year. Apple has yet to officially announce anything or send out invites, but we reckon it could be soon.

This is according to a post mode on Reddit by u/nanosplitter21 in which the user discovered a new Speck iPad Pro case for the 11-inch model in their local Target. The packaging on the box says that it’s for the 2021 11-inch iPad Pro which obviously hasn’t been released yet, and when the user tried to buy it, the system gave them an error stating that the item cannot be sold until the 6th of April.

They were then told by a Target employee that the item should not have been on the floor yet, meaning that it was probably awaiting the official announcement before it could go on sale. Assuming the 6th of April date is accurate, it means that the iPad Pro could be announced very soon.

A recent rumor has suggested that Apple might host an event on the 23rd of March, so a release date on the 6th of April actually makes sense. Apple hasn’t sent out invites yet but if the date is accurate, we imagine that it should be soon.
