For years, ever since Google launched Wear OS, many have wondered if Google could eventually launch their own brand of smartwatches. Those rumors have persisted for years, but that could change this year as Google is rumored to finally announce and launch their own Pixel-branded wearable.

While the company has yet to officially comment on the rumors or confirm them, leakster Jon Prosser has published a video in which he shared several renders of what the watch could look like. The renders were created by Ian Zelbo, which apparently were created based on information from Prosser as well as alleged press renders.

This means that if the information from Prosser is accurate, this could be our first look at Google’s Pixel Watch. In terms of design, there’s really not much to say. It looks like a regular watch with a round face and a crown. There’s nothing really distinctive about it, although that might actually be a good thing.

We’re not sure when Google will launch their smartwatch. The company is hosting its I/O event in May so that’s one possibility. Another possibility is that they could announce it in the later part of the year where the Pixel 6 is expected to be launched as well.
