Walking is boring, so why walk when you can scoot? If you like the idea of getting around your city on an electric scooter, then perhaps the Scotsman scooter might be worth looking at. This is because according to its creators, it has been designed for the connected generation in mind and comes with features like 4G and GPS.

This means that you will always remain connected wherever you go, and you can also track your routes as you go about your day. The company behind the Scotsman was founded by Sonny Vu, whom some of you might be familiar with as being the founder of Misfit, the wearables company that was eventually snapped up by Fossil.

The Scotsman features a pretty sleek design and is built from carbon fiber, making it easy to bring around as it is lighter than some of the other scooters out there, especially if you need to fold it up and carry it with you. It features dual motors and dual battery bays and there’s also a built-in display that shows you battery levels, speed, and even provides turn-by-turn navigation.

Last but not least, there is a dashcam so you can record what’s going around you while you go about your day. In terms of price, the Scotsman is being sold on Indiegogo where if you pledge now, you’ll get 48% off its RRP which means you only need to pay $1,799 for it. So if you’re interested, head on over to its Indiegogo page for the details.
