Samsung has officially confirmed that they will be hosting a new Galaxy Unpacked event on the 11th of August. While the company did not confirm anything, it is largely speculated that the event will see the company launch their new foldable phones which according to the rumors include the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.

Now thanks to a leak on Lambda-Tek which was then shared on Reddit, the pricing of the upcoming phones have been revealed, and honestly we can’t say we’re too surprised. According to the leak, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 with 256GB of storage will be priced at €1673.21, while the 512GB model will go for €1777.47. This translates to around $1,973 and $2,096 respectively.

As for the Galaxy Z Flip 3, it will be priced at €975.04 for the 128GB model, while the 256GB model will go for €1025.95, which after conversation is roughly equal to $1,150 and $1,209. Obviously for the Galaxy Z Fold 3, those prices are pretty expensive but like we said, we can’t say we’re too shocked.

Foldable display tech is still relatively new and with there not being a lot of competition in the market, Samsung is free to price it however they like. Of course, this could have an impact on how many people would be willing to adopt the phone, so we’ll just have to wait and see. None of these figures are official so take it with a grain of salt, but check back with us on the 11th of August for the details.
